Back in the early days of the Internet when I first got my fix, websites were easy and simple. As the years dragged on and the great-unwashed masses discovered the wonderful world of hardcore pornography, auctions for things you'll never use and pictures of cats with cheeseburgers, things got a lot harder. Having your own webpage 13 years ago was, although pointless, a bit of a status symbol. Your own little bit of the internet. Now unless you've got something useful to say - which let's face it, most of us haven't - there's not really any point in having one. Everyone's got a facebook page anyway. Well, I hate facebook, I've got a domain and webspace anyway so I thought I might as well use it anyway. Occasionally I may actually have something useful to say.
Don't even get me started on Fl**h websites (sorry Nicky).
