Obviously I couldn't come up with a good name for this one. I'm also not a big lager fan so it'll be interesting to see the results.
Batch Size: 23l
Planned OG: 1047
Estimated ABV: 4.6%
IBU: 35
4.80kg British Lager Malt
0.15kg Acid Malt
Hallertauer 100g 90m
Saaz 25g 15m
Saflager S-23 lager yeast
A classic hop profile... or so I'm told.
A nice fresh bag of grain (lager malt)

All weighed out; that's calcium chloride that is.

All tucked up. See you in 90 minutes.

Fermenter #2 being cleaned. I didn't want to tie up my main fermenter for this one as it's going to take a few weeks to ferment out.

On the boil now, hops in.

Nice break!

Cooling now. I couldn't get it below 30degC today, so I'll let it cool naturally for a bit before pitching the yeast.

Transfer. I ended up with 22l @ 1054
So I'll liquor back to my target gravity of 1047. Just over 3l of cooled boiled water.

And now here's the filthy shot you've all been waiting for... Mmmmm... trub.

Will let you all know how this one develops as time goes on.
